Kaleidoscope 2018

The children in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th are well into preparations for the show Kaleidoscope which will take place on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th of May at  7:00 in the school hall.

This is the third time in six years this show has been presented and as before it will contain a mixture of dance pieces, video projects by the children and a play performed by the teachers. The dances involve group and pair work and we are expecting 100% participation from 3rd to 5th (voluntary in 6th), so please inform the school ASAP if your child will be unavailable on those dates.

Children will need to be at the school by 6:30 pm and the show should be over by 8:15.  Costume is a plain white t-shirt/top and dark tracksuit bottoms/leggings.

Tickets will be available in the week beginning April 30th.

RDS Science Fair

5th class had a fantastic day at the RDS Science Fair on Sat Jan 13th.

We got great feedback from the judges and Paul Roe of Educate Together came and visited us.  He spent a long time talking with our gang and seemed really impressed with the work we had done.

Huge thanks to all the parents for their support with lifts and supervision.  A great event, well worth the effort.

Here we are the week before testing the whole school for colour blindness using a simple activity we created in Scratch.
