Mark your calendar for another wonderful day of fundraising for our school.
We are excited to announce that we are organising a Fun Run for the first time, in conjunction with the AXA Raheny 5.
The race will take place on Sunday 29th of January 2012 @ 15:00hrs. The course is a 5 mile road race around the boundaries of St.Annes Park.
No excuses if you can’t run, as there is also a walking class. Start training now to be in good shape for this great day out.
You can already register on Raheny Shamrocks website www.rahenyshamrock.ie. Registration for runners, walkers & wheelchairs is €20.00 per person. Please note no entries will be accepted on the date of the race. On line entries close at 11pm on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
You can download a Fun Run Sponsorship Card here. Please note that pledges can only be collected by parents/guardians on this occasion. There will be races for children on the day however, and we would love to see as many North Bay children as possible to take part!
We will have spotprizes and a raffle on the day for all participants. We are also organising a social night locally, with chances to rehydrate that evening. Let’s put the Fun into Running!
